Start with the real paint name
Search the maker and paint name first. If it is already in the library, start there instead of sampling a random photo.
Use a clean reference photo
- Avoid heavily edited showroom photos.
- Sample a normal-lit part of the panel, not a bright highlight or deep shadow.
- Check the closest library matches before copying values.
- Adjust flake, finish and brightness after applying it in-game.
Why it still needs an eye check
Real paint changes with clear coat, pearl, metallic flake, lighting and camera settings. Huezon gets you close; the final tiny adjustment still happens in Forza.
